Annual Group Challenge

Every year, members are set a challenge at the AGM by the outgoing committee. This competition is held in memory of a long-standing and well-loved PQ member, Janette Mornin, who sadly died in 2014. A striking glass trophy was kindly donated by her family.

The challenge runs all year until the next AGM when the entries are displayed. The winner is selected by secret ballot among the members, or occasionally by a guest judge.

2024-2025 Challenge: Flora & Fauna

Any item, maximum size 1m in longest dimension

Any technique - piecing, appliqué, wholecloth, embroidery, photo printing...

​​The 23-24 Challenge was to make a runner - any technique, any size as long as it was at least twice as long as it was wide. This lovely New York Beauty by Hilary Williams was chosen by the members in a secret ballot.
